Googleplex Photo Essay

February 21st, 2006 by James Omdahl

Electric scooters, dogs in the office, sand volleyball court…just another day at the Googleplex!

Google seems to embrace and nurture a culture of giving their employees everything they would need not to leave the Gplex.

Signs of comfort and innovation are picture-clear in Times recent photo essay through the headquarters of Google: the Googleplex. Some of my fave stops along the tour include:

  • free gourmet meals prepared three times/day
  • barbershop & masseuse/masseur
  • idea boards

Encouraging innovation, creativity and productivity while nurturing comfort is all right by me. Who wouldnt want to “do no evil” (Googles motto) after a gourmet lunch and massage?

As much as Google gets bashed in the public forum, Im sure Googlers love going to work!
