Affiliate Interview Questions and Free PR5 Links!

THIS IS A PR5 SITESo a while back I said I wanted to do some interviews through email with willing affiliates and post them here on the Affiliate Blog. I thought it would be good to let the Affiliate Blog's readers learn more about other affiliate marketers.

I got absolutely no response on the blog, but I like to think that it was because people just didn't know they were supposed to comment and let me know they would be interested. Yeah - pretty sure that was it. :)

So, with this failure behind me I picked up the phone and got some people lined up to do interviews.

Now, possibly I wasn't overly clear that there was an incentive to do an interview. That incentive is a text link from this site to a site of your choosing - and since we are rockin' a Google PageRank of 5, you know you want a link. That's like a hundred dollar a month value or something. All from talking about yourself!

Anyway, today I am writing some interview questions for some interviews I have set up with some of our top InsureMe affiliates. I was hoping to get some feedback from our fair readers on questions to ask.

Would you like to know how many hours a day they work? What kind of cars they drive? What they eat for breakfast? Would you like a step-by-step guide of how to make a six figure per-year income sending insurance traffic?

Let me know, and I will ask them. But I can't guarantee that they will answer that last question, or guarantee that if they did I wouldn't turn that information into an e-book and sell it for MILLIONS!

Ahem.

Now, by reading this post you have decided that you would like to get interviewed, all for a FREE LINK FROM THIS SITE, send me an email or leave a comment.

Can't wait to hear back from you.

I'd be very interested in knowing from affiliates if 1) This your full time job?
2) How many companies are you an affiliate of?
3) What industries have you targeted and why?
Thanks!

I'd be interested in the following:
1. What is your target cost percent?
2. What do you like and dislike about InsureMe's affiliate program?
3. Have you used an SEO company? If yes, who should I avoid?
4. Have you found a good SEO company?

So, I do wonder how an affiliate gets started in this business. I'm guessing it wasn't as if you would grow up thinking maybe I'll be a fireman, a policeman or just maybe I'll make it really big and I'll be an affiliate.

The follow-on question would be,,, and what business were you in before you became the ultimate affiliate?

Since I don't know too much about day to day for affiliates; I'll keep to Q's like:
1-Describe for me what a good work ethic looks like to you?
2-When you hear values based company what does that sound like to you?
3-Then there's the concepts surrounding, "high impact / low ego", "self motivated & self managed" and "Teamplaying" that seem good to explore and will usually give you a good idea of what you're going to get in those areas. Especially when they realize how serious you are about "protecting the gate".
(Could be that role needs more ego than I would look for in a Engineer and likely would and weighted appropriately.) So maybe more on self motivated / self managed. Hope all that makes sense.

Myself being new to insurance affiliate programs I'm finding the cost of PPC on insurance related terms higher than other programs I promote. Especially the more targeted search terms. My questions would be;

1)How are you turning a profit using PPC.

2)What PPC or Advertising do you use?

3)Are your back links strictly insurance related or do you also get back links from unrelated sites?

4)Is a smaller website better with the SE's or is a larger website better?

Thanks, Pat
