As some of you may already know, for the last few years InsureMe has worked with Commission Junction (CJ) as an advertiser (a company that gets affiliates through Commission Junction). For those of you who do not know, I wanted to take a minute to tell you a bit more about what Commission Junction can do for you as an affiliate.
Most people who are affiliates have run across Commission Junction at one time or another, and for good reason — Commission Junction is one of the biggest comparative marketplaces for people who work as affiliates. The benefits of working through CJ are numerous. They include:
- Exposure to hundreds of affiliate programs - from insurance to shoes to dating, Commission Junction offers them all.
- Easily evaluate and compare potential advertisers (companies like InsureMe) - you can see important metrics such as earnings per 100 clicks, network rankings, history of the advertisers program
- Understanding the effectiveness of an advertisement before you place it on your Web site - avoid the trial and error approach
- Guaranteed payout - hey, its scary out there sometimes, and unfortunately many affiliates get burned by affiliate programs that do not pay out. By working through Commission Junction you are able to make sure you are getting paid for your hard work.
- Ease of management - view all of your affiliate efforts in one place, not on multiple Web sites. This is especially if you work with a lot of different industries and affiliate programs.
I am sure there are some important points I may have left out, so if you are an affiliate, or if you work at CJ please leave a comment and let us know!
So if you are an affiliate looking to expand your affiliating efforts, check out Commission Junction.
And if you are interested in learning more about InsureMes affiliate program through CJ, you can go here if you are already a member of CJ, and if not, go here and sign up for a CJ account! It wont cost you a thing and it could help you increase your effectiveness as an affiliate!
