Cool Affiliate Tool: MindMeister
Last year at the Blog Business Summit I was introduced to the concept of a mind map and I’ve been using mind maps ever since. (Big hat tip to Buzz Bruggerman for bringing his entire presentation in mind map form.)
What is a mind map? According to Wikipedia, a mind map is:
a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks or other items linked to and arranged radially around a central key word or idea. It is used to generate, visualize, structure and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing.

As an affiliate, a mind map can be a great tool to help you brainstorm, organize, and troubleshoot that next website/PPC account/project you are going to be working on. Up until recently I’ve been using paper and pen to put together my mind maps, mainly because mind map software costs around $100 a copy. But recently I ran across MindMeister, an online collaborative mind mapping web application.
The cool thing is MindMeister is free for the basic version, so you can create some mind maps to see if mind mapping works for you. The application is really easy to use, is sharable, and exportable.
