John Hasson's Updated List of PPC Engines That Work

PPC guru and affiliate marketer John Hasson has updated his list of PPC companies that work. If you're looking for some new places to spend your PPC dollars, you might want to explore some of the companies on his list.

With that said, I'd remind you that John does work in multiple verticals, and the smaller engines he lists could work for some verticals and not others...I know our company's experience differs from John's.

Also, never forget Vinny Lingham's principal of Return On Effort (ROE) - make sure you are spending your time in the places where you can get the biggest return...and in the PPC world, that often means the bigger search engines.

Thanks for updating the list John - keep up the great work!

Rant time: Do not advertise with Ask! In verticals where I see 30% to 40% conversion in almost every search engine I see around a .3% (3 out of 1000 visitors)conversion with Ask & to be fair those 3 conversions came within minutes after I told my rep I wanted to close my account(hmmm...). I spent $1500 this last round with Ask & made around $23.50..nice! What a joke! And they say they are the 4th largest engine? I've never known anyone who has used Ask...

Next time I'm going to take that $1500 & use it to make an Anti-Ask marketing campaign!

Awesome rant MB!

I think everyone has their own PPC horror story. Whether it's poor click quality, an un-closeable account, or clueless account reps, it seems like getting burned is a right of passage in the PPC world!

@MB Which is why you see Ask in my list of engines I have always lost money with :) I suppose they might work for some niche, but I haven't found one yet.

I finally saw an Ask search window tonight! It was part of spyware that somehow got on my computer. Maybe that explains the unbelievably poor traffic at Ask.
